Residential Case Study

Fire & Security systems for a high end property developer in Hampstead, London NW3

Having a client with a vision of exactly what is required for a property and a good understanding of the people the property is aimed at makes designing systems very straight forward.

Coordinated provided designs for an Intruder alarm system with monitoring for a Policed response, a fire alarm system with fire brigade response, an HD CCTV system with remote monitoring and a video entry system to greet visitors from three locations.

We used our experience and knowledge of the latest regulations to help save the client time, space & money early in the design stage of the build. A slight tweak in the fire detection negated the need for a sprinkler system saving around £10,000 for the client.

The Client

The Client

This project has gone very smoothly and a fabulous, modern house has been created in a relatively short period of time considering the scale of the property and the work carried out. This success is down to developers Queenscote Studios who have been a breath of fresh air to work with.

Working with friendly, professional and enthusiastic people makes a project so much easier and their approach was infectious and galvanized all the trades on site to really work together.

Once agreed, cables, drawings, schematics and detailed instructions were provided to the site electrician who then carried out the first fix. Coordinated then paid several visits during the build to check and assist with exact cable locations to ensure a smooth second fix.

The architects have really helped to set this house apart from others on the street and it would have been a crime to have had fire detectors interfering with this ceiling and the features so minimally designed.

Bespoke, flush keypads & panic buttons were also provided for the Intruder alarm and were chosen to match the switches and sockets used within the house.
